MGN Astin reporting in for the Hammer\'s Fist on April 25th, 2010.
 
Firstly, I\'d like to remind DLs and SOC members that reports are due now! I mean very much what I said last report and if you miss a couple reports in a row you will be out of a position! So please take the 10 minutes or so and write a report up for your position.
 
Moving along, I\'d like to remind everyone that Call of Duty 4 is still available for 50% off ($15 USD) on Steam! This deal will likely only last for the rest of today so go pick it up! As of right now, we are moving forward with this game (w/ the Galactic Warfare mod) as our primary gaming platform, so if you\'d like to help us out with this endeavor I\'d highly recommend you pick the game up.
 
I am currently in the process of setting up a Call of Duty 4 server for the Emperor\'s Hammer. The server will be public, but will be configured to run the Galactic Warfare mod so we will be able to use it for official matches and events. It should be fully operational in the next couple days. I\'ll make an announcement once it\'s ready.
 
Grand Admiral Ronin, the club\'s owner, has set up a Ventrilo server that can be used by the entire EH. Server information is as follows:
 

 
Feel free to pop on and chat. I intend on using it, so if you were ever wondering just how geeky your Prefect really sounds, now is your chance!
 
Pending approval, we\'ll use have a set of procedures for proper multiplayer matches and also an updated list of medals. The procedures will ensure that only official matches are counted towards awards and whatnot, and the new medal list trims things down to increase the value of each medal, and also includes a better competition medal and some multiplayer specific medals. You should see this all announced later this week.
 
Now is the time to recruit! We currently have a Battlefront II server, will soon have a CoD4 server, and have an active Operation to participate in! I will pay special attention to members who are able to bring new recruits in, so go out there and get your friends to join!
 
Finally, I\'d like to welcome Tuba to the Hammer\'s Fist! He recently joined and was able to very quickly complete his initial training to earn an assignment. In addition, he completed the Basic Stormtrooper Certification course with a 100%, earning him a promotion to Private First Class!
