Pardon the two-day delay for this report, as RL committments have kept me extremely busy over the past eleven straight days.

-=News=-
1) Ronin has retired as Fleet Commander of the Emperor's Hammer after ten years of hard work. Sector Admiral Astatine, promoted to Grand Admiral, has assumed control of the Fleet. The thanks of the entire membership of the Hammer's Fist goes out to Ronin for all of his time, money and effort as well as our congratulations to Astatine and best wishes for the future.
2) Commander, Maneuvers [General Staff member responsible for the Roleplaying Division] was announced this week, and our congratulations go out to Lieutenant Colonel BaleFire on his well deserved promotion. His assistant will be Captain Ric Gravant, the current Overseer of the BHG. These are two of the finest RPers I've ever seen, and both will be striving hard to implement a brand new roleplaying concept to our meager subgroup. Stay tuned for details!
3) Commander, Training is still open for applications. Currently, I've received three, but I'd like to see some more. I'll leave it open for a little while longer.
4) The Hammer's Fist Field Manual has been revised and released, a project that has kept Brigadier Narthax busy since his tenure as CT. And...
5) A new CSMA layout has been released, thanks to the work of Brigadier Narthax. The site looks great, I recomend everyone check it out (and take some courses while you're there!)
6) Transitioning to the new units should be beginning shortly, I hope to have it done sometime this week. Current officers should be reporting in to me immediately, as I would like to know you're still alive rather than just hurting our efforts. Troopers, bear with us for a little while longer while we finish up the biggest bits of the transition -- do your best to stay active!

The week ahead is going to be pretty hectic for us all, as we transition to the new units as well as cope with Christmas and the associated Boxing Day sales. I'll be out of contact for sure on the 23rd/24th, as I do not plan to spend my eighteenth birthday sober (and with fifty nine litres of Fort Garry Dark on the way, can you blame me?) I should, however, be available for periods of Christmas day and Boxing Day. On that note, best wishes to all of you for the holidays, [INSERT APPROPRIATE HOLIDAY GREETING HERE], be smart. I expect to see you all back here in one piece after the break. Take it easy, folks.
